Patsy Cawley’s

Taken from ‘The Rookery’, a 2012 album from Emmett Gill and Jesse Smith. It’s such a good tune I suspect it might be on thesession.org already, but I haven’t been able to find it. Anyone recognise it? Patsy Cawley was a Doocastle fiddler who recorded some 78rpm discs.

Re: Patsy Cawley’s

It’s worth noting that they’re playing instruments tuned a tone lower, so this tune would be in D fingering.

:D

Thanks Nigel! I agree that it’s a tune that sounds familiar (other than their album, which is superb), but I also haven’t seen it here.
