Spoil The Dance

A reel I’ve always liked since hearing it on Matt Molloy’s “Heathery Breeze” LP.

The B-part’s very similar to Sporting Paddy.

It’s never in A dorian though. It’s more likely to be G I’d say. It’s tonal center is definatly more G than A. Though just because it doesn’t resolve to G doesn’t mean it resolves to A. And just because there are no Cnats or Csharps doesn’t mean it doesn’t imply the Cnats.

Put this one down as one that doesn’t fit the notation conventions. And if your gonna strum to it, give it plenty of space.
