Patrick Kelly’s Waltz

This fantastic waltz is contained "happy to meet" by P. J. Cratty, Caral Cullinan, and James Cullinan.
This waltz is similar to "Aggie’s Waltz" by Seamus Egan (contained his first solo album called "Traditional Music Of Ireland".

I wouldn’t use the word ‘similar’, unless meant in an extremely broad sense…

Correction: the above link is not "Aggie’s" but "Waltz from Transtrand" (Sweden & Swedish)

YES!!! ~ "Patrick Kelly’s Waltz" & "Aggie’s Waltz" have are related…

I hadn’t my copy of the recording on hand until just today, and had been sent an MP3 with a request to transcribe what was called by the send "Aggie’s", now corrected. Now to transcribe Aggie’s to make amends… 😏

"Patrick Kelly’s" / "Aggie’s" ~ another couple of ways of seeing it

The Cachucha

This tune appears to be a development of ‘The Cachucha’ waltz. The dance gained international recognition when on the 1st of June, 1836, the famous Austrian dancer, Fanny Elssler (1810-1884), made her debut performance of it in Paris in the role of Florinda in the ballet, Le Diable boiteux by Jean Coralli and Casimir Gide.
