Bannow Bay

A hornpipe composed many years ago by mouth organ legend Phil Murphy of Ballygow in Wexford. The 30th Phil Murphy festival has just been held in nearby Carrig-on-Bannow. It has I’ve always thoughtthis tune had the ‘feel’ of an old tune. It was recorded by Phil and his two sons, John and Pip, on their seminal ’Trip to Cullenstown" album.

Great! Thanks for adding this. I’ve been learning loads of their tunes from the cd but was missing a few notes on this one!
