Very old Scottish tune, I’ve seen it posted here as a jig. It was published on “A Curious Collection of Scots Tunes” (1740) as a 3/4. This is a modern version, from the playing of The Iron Horse. I’ll post the version from the book when I find some motivation, loads of notes there 😅

There’s a page & 1/2 full of ‘Variations on the Scottish air’ to ‘When She Cam Ben’ by O’Carolan in the book of his tunes. Here’s a link to the online index. Scroll down to tune 205. 2 pages to click on there’s so many variations. The sheets are the best option if you just want to look at them, ABCs as well: http://www.oldmusicproject.com/occ/tunes.html
A much traditional and beautiful rendition (Lazarevitch is one of my model as a flutist)

Really nice arrangement and playing! A question . . . What does the title mean? Is it something like ‘When she came in she bobbed (curtseyed)’?
“Is it something like ‘When she came in she bobbed (curtseyed)’?”
Precisely.
