This is a very familiar tune, if slightly different than the versions given here, but as yet I’ve not been able to trace this back, sure I’ve come across it before, possibly in an early collection, 1800s? 😏 I’ll keep looking, including in my own notes. I’ll also try to drag out a version more as I’ve known it in the past.
