Anyone have the English translation for ‘an sioda’? Maybe "the silk"?
When learning the tune (on the pipes) I found it helpful to put a EFG triplet in the first bar, gives you a way to force your fingers around that unusual BGAEGD sequence. Lunasa’s version has frequent use of the same triplet in it, and it also sets off the bottom D nicely.

great tune. does not sound like a slide though.
