Brady’s #1

Off Arty McGlynn & Nollaig Casey’s "Lead The Knave".

The tune "Brady’s" on the Fisher Street album is clearly not the same tune as the one listed here, it being a reel

Music On The Wind

This tune appears in Pete Cooper’s Book ‘Irish Fiddle Solos’ as ‘Music On The Wind’. He says in the notes that it was composed by Lucy Farr in 1972.

Lucy Farr’s #2

Can I just confirm the title and the fact it was composed by Lucy Farr! Lucy told me in the late 80s that she switched on Radio Eireann one day and heard her tune played (by Artie McGlynn) then given the title Brady’s. She wasn’t bothered to do anything about it - so I am doing it now for her!

Re: Music On The Wind

Here is a transcription of the version Ms. Greenwood plays in the video. Very nice. I didn’t transcribe the tasty delayed turn she does on the E2 in measures 2 and 6.
