There is the Cape Breton version of this tune from the Jerry Holland’s (first) collection of fiddle tunes.
I don’t know which sounds better, but when I listen to Reel of Seven play the Magic of Merrill, the first tune almost sounds completely different, as if it has to do with different bowing techniques.

Usually played the other way round.
