St. Nick’s Boat

Just found this over on JC’s while listening through Skylark’s "Light and Shade". Gerry is positively one my top five fav fiddlers (along with about a hundred others…..)

So I’m Off With The Good St. Nicholas Boat

In his Miller o’ Hirn Collection (1881) it is clearly written "By James Scott Skinner", so there is no doubt about it. It is also described as a "song", and reference is made to the words "by La Teste - see his Poems."
