Aandowin At Da Bow
One of those Shetland reels that you sometimes hear in Irish sessions. I think it’s trad but am not sure.
It seems traditional. The sleeve notes of "The Best of Ossian" says that the title "refers to the action of keeping a boat steady at a marker buoy by idling with the oars."
Yamadasan arigatou gozaimasu. I always wondered what the title meant!
Dou itashimashite, Dow-san. It’s not so mysterious as "Oo’t Be Est Da Vong," which is one of my favourite tune.
Ii kyoku desu ne. I might learn that one today. Looks like the 2 tunes might go well together in a set.
