The Moon In May (NOT a reel)

I love to play ITM, but sometime i like something different..
This tune, written by me, is something different..
I hope you like it.

A very pleasant tune, GianMarco! It sounds a lttle bit English/Elizabethan and a very little bit Irish to my mind. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks fiddlefingers , BTW , it sounds a bit breton to my mind.

Gian-Marco,
can give us some hints about the tempo, groove and so on - it’s definitely no reel, but lovely melodies

mmmm…It is something similar to a breton dans plinn, or to an unswung hornpipe…

I know it’s not like a polka but those bits in the 2nd part remind me of one. It’s an interesting tune, but too late at night for me to try it out - the neighbours’ll complain 🙂

in the 2nd and 3rd part some notes are to be played in groups of three. ( it’s obvious, or it is not? )

It’s more obvious with the 3rd part than the 2nd, just from looking at it.

for insatnce, the 2nd part is to be played

with an accent on the 1st note of each goup of three.
