Counting My Sings, and now out and out commercialism…

In support of an old friend, Paul Cranford:

Sorry to all, as I have sinned, two compositions in a row. I do have a slew of other things to add that aren’t mine, but I want to make sure they aren’t hidden elsewhere. I had a load of Highland Flings/Highlands/Flings, but there’s so much of that scattered across hornpipes and reels that I have started to feel a bit defeated, and have put those aside to deal with just mazurkas/Varsoviennes and 32 bar barndances. I am slowly working my way through polkas and other things too though, not wanting to duplicate things, which I’ve done previously even having checked the category I’d have expected it under. I’m learning. No more compositions for awhile, I promise…
