Aggie White’s Hornpipe
I learnt this lovely HP in Milltown Malbay in a pipes beginners course from Nollaigh McCarthy around 1990.
Love it!
Aggie White’s
Hi,
This is a lovely tune. I learned it as Aggie White’s and found out later that it’s a Sean Ryan tune called The Swan (in the first book of his music - Hidden Ireland). It’s written down in A but I’ve never heard anyone play it in that key. Wait, now that you mention it.. I got it from Darach de Brun, who’s also a piper - AHA!

Aggie White’s HP debugged
Sorry, lots of typos in my first version - wrong octaves especially. I’ve corrected now the abc, maybe Jeremy is doing us the favour to adjust the sheetmusic, too.
Aggie White’s, X:2
This is the setting on the 1991 Buttons and Bows album Grace Notes, where they call it "The Dancing Master" and note "The Swan" as an alternative title. They play it after "Flaherty’s Hornpipe" https://thesession.org/tunes/4247
