Note: This tune is NOT A REEL, it’s a gaelic lullaby.
Is it a lullaby for a baby on ampthetamines?
try to play it at 50 bpm.
This is awesome tune. It is a sort of tune but cannot be regarded as a reel. I tried to play it many times it sound very touching.

Does anyone know the translation of the title, I’ve had no luck searching on-line. Thanks. Another very nice version is by Open the Door for Three https://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video;_ylt=A0SO8z7J85lYWkcAAMxXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTEyYjV2ZGpyBGNvbG8DZ3ExBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDQjMyMTlfMQRzZWMDc2M-?p=open+the+door+for+three+youtube&fr=sfp#id=9&vid=8d057203ea48596655b00a28293a1082&action=view
As a rough guess a translation might be "Knowing this grief". Uileo is described as an ejaculation or cry of grief. See a usage in "The pursuit of Diarmuid".
I thought it might be helpful to post this link: https://books.google.com/books?id=zFEm-aq1I2MC&pg=PA261&lpg=PA261&dq=Uileo-Pursuit+of+Diarmuid&source=bl&ots=1WCOrb8-ts&sig=q_pNl-po-fyYqMJgOhZg6NF-k0c&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiUyc6q1P_RAhXpzFQKHeA8ALcQ6AEIMjAE#v=onepage&q=Uileo-Pursuit%20of%20Diarmuid&f=false
The relevant bit is the footnote at the bottom of the page, page 261 that is.
Thanks Postie. Very appreciated to have input for non-Gaelic speakers.
