I heard this nice tune played by Natalie MacMaster. It was composed by Alex MacEachern.

The B’s in bars A2 and A6 are supposed to be flat, not natural.

The New York, X:2

I have added a revised transcription of this tune as played by Natalie MacMaster in the album “In my hands”. It’s the first time I try at fiddling with abc notation, so bear with me. The names of the other tunes in the set seem to be Mrs. Gordon of Park and The Moil in the Wad.

Re: The New York

That would be The Moll in the Wad, victor.

Re: The New York

There’s another New York Jig, recorded by John Whelan and others, but I’m not finding it in thesession under that name. Does it have another?
