It ‘s not a waltz.
great tune, but what speed you’re playing this?
could be adapted to be a hop jig, if you don’t mind.
It sounds good as a Mazurka.Great tune.
I play it at 160 bpm.( more or less )
It’s not a waltz, a hop jig or a mazurka ( to my ears )…
What is it?
SlimDusty issued a singleunderthisnameinthe earlysixties but there seemstobe little relationship. Are tunes different orisit a lousy transcription?
I don’t know Slim Dusty and his pub with no beer. My pub is a different one.
The Dubliners sing that song. I could get the words for you if you like.
this rocks…just love playing it.
Thanks Denise, I’m happy you like it. I had forgotten that tune…not bad, indeed.
The original "Pub with no beer" came out of Australia in the fifties, using Stephen Fosters "Beautiful Dreamer" for its melody, which IS a waltx.
