This is a tune played in our group and I’m wondering if any one knows anything about the tune or the dedicatee
I don’t have any CD’s to hand and an abc search didn’t help but I am sure I have heard either Lunasa or Mike McGoldrick play this.
This tune is on McGoldrick and McSherry’s duet album. But, I believe it’s just a variant of Touch Me If You Dare: https://thesession.org/tunes/596
Is it really Wedding? Birthday, isn’t it?

Reel composed by Clare ACCORDION Player Josie Marsh ,She wrote it for her mums birthday .
Well, I guess I know what I’m doing today. Learning this tune. Me mum’s name is Phyllis, and, believe it or not, today is her birthday.
Small world, ain’t it?
It is Birthday. A senior moment got me confused with the chicken keeping and marrying Jenny
this tune is great, and quite a popular feis tune. there is a great version of this on Feis musician Anthony Davis’ album - Perfect timing, its really lively and upbeat and just makes you want to dance
see yas all later
Also on Pádraig Rynne’s album, Bye a While
Unfortunate that the person posting this album just gave us set names, must see if that can be changed.
Correction to above post
Jo recorded it in F.
I have heard from a good source that F is the original key.
