From Oisin MacDiarmada’s solo CD "Ar An Bhfidil". He plays this on whistle, with a lovely simple style quite reminiscent of Miko Russell, [ in my opinion ]. I’d love to hear more of his whistle playing. There is a version of this in O’Neill’s which is quite different. The sleeve notes say this particular setting comes from the repertoire of piper Patsy Tuohy. Oisin plays this with the first part repeated - 16 bars to the first part, only 8 to the second. I’ve posted 8 and 8 - it’s up to yourself. I’d recommend this CD to anyone with even the slightest interest in Irish traditional music. Great stuff!
