Emma’s Single (But I Can’t Marry Her)
Zina recently posted a tune by Shannon Heaton, Emma’s Slip, (https://thesession.org/tunes/4279), and MM mentioned working on a tune for his/her daughter, Emma’s Hop, so when Zina suggested we just needed a single jig to complete the set, a tune immediately began unfolding in my mind.
Only the first half is a single jig. The second part came out the way it wanted to, which turned out to be a double jig.
Here it is in G for the fluters in the crowd.
