Scott Skinner wrote this for his father who had lost a finger in an accident, and re-learned the fiddle left handed. Not an easy task.

The Left Handed Fiddler

According to J Murdoch Henderson, this tune was named after George Taylor of Aberdeen. George Taylor had a son, also George, also a left-handed fiddler, and also celebrated in a tune on this site: https://thesession.org/tunes/3578

The Left Handed Fiddler, X:3

The first bar of the last line needs a note changing. Yes, yes, I know - but that ‘hiccup’ sounds good when you’re playing this as fast as it should be.
