Set idea

This is good in a set with Farewell to Miltown Malbay

Mistake Alert

On the 3rd line, 2nd measure it should be d2 c2 B2 instead of D2 C2 b2. Sorry about that, this is my first time using ABC.

Lovely tune

thankyou for sharing
it’s the first time i’ve tried reading on the clarinet
and these g minor waltzes sit very nicely

I’m guessing you wants f sharps in the 3rd measure of the fourth line too as in the same bit next time round..?

cheers…. P. ;9)

Re: Karl Fant’s

From the sleeve notes of Ports of Call (Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas):
“…tune comes from Karl Rosenstrom, credited with introducing the waltz to Norway. (The third part was added later by fiddler Sven Nyhus.) ‘Fant’ is the name given to the Norwegian gypsies, or traveling people.”
