From the Easy Club’s second album.
The Isle Of Ewe (jig)
A nice variation when the tune has been played twice would be to play it the third time in D major.
Lovely tune dafydd.
Nice idea playing it in Dmajor at the end but I think you would have to change a few notes in the B part to make it sound right to my ears- that is over and above the key change.
The Isle Of Ewe
Composed by Jim Sutherland of Thurso, Caithness, mainstay of the group The Easy Club. The Isle of Ewe can be found in Loch Ewe in Ross and Cromarty.
The Isle Of Ewe, X:2
My version of this lovely tune in E minor
Re: The Isle Of Ewe
One could say "Isle of Ewe" to the wife or girlfriend and see what happens. No music needed.
