Cheers, Sam. This is a great tune on the flute too. I love Iain MacDonald’s flute playing of it, and someone told me Cathal McConnell recorded it.

Correction of spelling of author’s name

Note, the author’s name is Patricia Chafe. She is, in addition to a fine composer and pianist, the daughter of famed Cape Breton fiddler, Winnie Chafe

Is it just me…

…or does anyone else think this sounds a lot like “The Leaving of Liverpool?”
