Red Tom of the Hills
This is an Ed Reavy tune, transcribed here from a session tape of Paddy Carty on flute. They go into this from the Broken Pledge.
Yvonne Kane’s version
Here’s how Yvonne Kane plays it on the cd Under the Diamond. I like the touch of going to F sharp on the second ending of the A part to set up the G major as you go into the B part.

I have been familiar with this tune for many years but have never been able to find out what the name of it is, so I would be delighted if some kind person could recognise it and let me know not just the name of it but fill in the rest of the tune for me. Many thanks Fred H
That’s Red Tom Of The Hills, just in the wrong key and without the B part. :-/
