Washington’s March

A version of this tune is played by American Old-time fiddlers, some with a Ddad’ tuning. It was recorded with this tuning as the second tune of a set of three on "Songs From the Mountain" by John Herman, Tim O’Brien & Dirk Powell. This version comes from the playing of West Virginia fiddler, Edden Hammons (nee Edwin - variants: Eddon, Eddin, Edn) who was recorded playing this tune.
