Desaunays

I’ve got this tune from a FANTASTIC CD with (I think ) a new band Brock - McGuire Band, who is Paul Brock, Manus McGuire, Enda Scahill, Fergal Scahill, Dennis Morrison and Denis Carey.
I have moderated the tune a bit, so its more playable for ‘ordinary’ musicians, but I think it’s OK.

This tune was written by button accordion player John Whelan. He recorded it on his CD with Eileen Ivers "Fresh Takes." The liner notes say he wrote it for "a great melodeon player from France, Serge Desaunay." He plays it in C … Like this …
