I wrote this out from the track "The Highfield Set" from "Born Tired" by "Burach". The other tunes in the set are "Highfield (previous)" which can be found at https://thesession.org/tunes/5670 and "Murray in Mull" which I’ll link to when I transcribe it.
The tune is by David A. Gordon, and I’ve transposed this from the original Gminor where I found the abc notation elsewhere on the internet.
David A. Gordon is better known as ‘Dagger’ Gordon , and is a sheep farmer in Easter Ross. Anyone with experience of lambing sheep in Scotland knows that there seem to be especially bad storms just when lambing really gets going; guaranteed to ravage your flocks. He wrote this in memory of a particularly bad storm at his farm near Invergordon.
