O’Driscoll’s Favourite

Rescued from oblivion by Pat McNulty in his tune book called Dance Music of Ireland. I’ve heard it played slowly by Sean O’Driscoll on banjo he then speeds it up. He does a lovely job on the tune.

Recorded by Sean Maguire in 1959

On an E.P. which might be where Pat McNulty got the tune for his excellent collection.I know a number of tunes Sean had recorded were in that collection.I`ll post the recording sometime.Sean O`Driscoll played piano on it,if its the same man!
