Paddy Fahey’s

I was listening to the archived Ceili House radio show linked to Lizzy Doe’s website and heard Eileen O’Brien playing this tune.

Well Jack you obviously didn’t do a search for Paddy Fahey’s to see if it was already posted! ——- 🙂 Only joking - sorry.
Great to find another PF tune that I don’t think I’ve heard before. This begs the question that keeps getting asked: When is he going to release a book or CD of his collected tunes. Although if the Kane sisters do another 3 or 4 albums they should have just about covered all his material.

I love Paddy Fahey tunes! Keep them coming!

Also on Claire Keville, John Weir, and Eithne Ni Dhonaile’s beautiful trio recording "An Tri is a Rian." The first reel on track 5.

Kane Sisters

This is on the Kane Sisters ""Under the Diamond" Track #10.2 (Yvonne’s Solo)

As played on Faoi Bhlàth

By Ciaran Somers (flute) and Dave Sheridan (fiddle). Lovely version and a lovely CD. A must have. Ciaran is a mighty fluter.
