My good friend and musical collaborator, Richard Mandel, has taken up the banjo in the last couple of years after becoming the SF Bay Area’s most competent and talented guitar player. His skill has translated onto the banjo beautifully and he is becoming the best banjo player around as well. But on his debut with the banjo at a wedding gig we did his future as a great banjo player was momentarily in doubt when this adorable little girl wearing a lovely gown, and looking very distinguished for a 5 year old, was watching intently with her eyebrows furrowed and her face in a pinch. As soon as we finished the tunes she walked straight up to Richard and whined with righteous indignation, “Why were you doing that?”
So… this tune’s for you… Richard. 😉

B-part is changed slightly
