“Josie Byrne’s Barndance” ~ calling ‘Jobpipes’

I waited, I wrote you, but you didn’t resubmit this, so here it is with a difference. Just to be fair, I think the following is possibly what you were working for in you notation that got axed and went "POOF!" I’ve not changed the notation and am giving it here without the notated swing, though I did remove your 1st and 2nd endings, using the lead-in beat as you had it notated, avoiding repetition:

I didn’t manage to save jobpipes comments, but maybe he will visit this way and check and see if the above scans as they intended, hopefully adding value with comment…

“Josie Byrne’s Barndance” ~ jobpipes is back ~ here’s the comments:

"I first heard this setting of the tune from Paul O’ Shaughnessy and Harry Bradley and while the two tunes are in the same key it goes class with Denis Murphy’s also on "Born for Sport"."

Joe (Josie) Byrne’s

Played by John Byrne on Fiddle Music of Donegal Vol.3. A bit slower and with the first couple of bars going something like:
