The Jellyfish Jig
I composed this (on guitar) at St Ann’s Gaelic College when I was there for a week in August. It was inspired by all the jellyfish on the shores of St Ann’s Harbour. The slurs from C# to D and E# to F# should be played as slides (or glissandi, if you’re posh).
Somehow this tune escaped being converted into dots so I’ve simplified the ABCs. Just note that to play the tune as intended you need to slide up to the Ds in bars 1, 3, 5 and 8.
