This tune is more widely known under the title Drive the World Before You (or Me), appearing for example in the 1873 Levy Collection. Also similar to the slip jig Waterford Girls (Cailíní Phort Láirge).
This setting appears in The Petrie Collection of Irish Music, part II, ed. Charles Villiers Stanford (1905), p. 155, no. 617 as “The Humours of Jerpoint”.
Re: The Hag’s Dream
My favorite version of this tune is by the Welsh group Allan Yn Y Fan. They put it right in the middle of two hornpipes, which isn’t really typical, but I love their rendition of it. https://youtu.be/cFU-G4yUAXU
