“The Blackbird” ~ ahem!

Yes, you could write it out in 6/8, but I find myself swinging it like a slide, even though melodically it does sometimes seem to disagree with me. However you take it, it’s a rollickingly good time, at least I have a good time with it… 🙂

You could also be more ‘dainty’ with it and take it at a nice meditative ‘country dance’ and nod to your partner till you’re in a neckbrace pace too ~ which can also be fun, if you don’t take it too seriously…

We have a fair collection of ‘Blackbirds’ on site here, but this one doesn’t seem to be accounted for online or in a collection anywhere I’ve checked? ~ not yet anyway…
