A track played by Buttons and Bows from the CD - ‘Traditional Music of Ireland’ (on Celtophile MWCELT 9). this jig was followed by ‘Katies Fancy’ as part of a 2 tune set.

Are you sure about your "abcs", Sean ? A drop from high "b" to low "D" would be quite unusual.

Kenny - I think I recognise that tune. If you take it that the small letters are lower octave, and the big letters upper octave, it sounds pretty familiar to me … not time to go look …

A common session tune - the Norbeck version (not the one on this site) is the more common, in my experience. The "Paddy in London" listed on this site is basically a version of *this* tune, ie The Four Courts. No question, the two tunes are related, but I think they’re sufficiently different to be classed as different tunes.
