Two comments

This was composed by Brenda Stubbert. I’ve taken this version from her CD “Music All Around”. There is a slightly different version on Andrea Beaton’s “Cuts” and a slightly different transcription on Paul Cranford’s website, in both cases mainly in the amount of trebles. It has also been recorded by Buddy MacMaster, though i haven’t heard his version.
I like the way the tune deliberately avoids the third, until whapping it in on the B part.
With not a lot of breathing space the tune can stand being played not too fast - Brenda plays it at 109 bpm (that’s half notes).
