This reel was composed by Richard Forest and is now well known all over North America and elsewhere. It is not very difficult and pleasant to hear. I learned it from Richard himself. He plays it in 2/4. You can hear Richard playing this reel on the following album.

I made a little change to the ABC notation so the repeat is at the right place…

In the first 6 measures, the e, f and g are played by pulling (down movement) the bow.

Key

The right key seems to be E dorian as some of you pointed out!
