This is another tune off Vincent McGrath’s album “Ó Cheartlar Mo Chroí”. I really like this tune. The sleeve notes from the album say:
“My paternal grandmother, Mary McDonnell (1881 - 1972), was known locally as Mary Alick after her father, Alick McDonnell. She was the greatest musical influence on my life. Her fun-loving nature and love of music and dancing was legendary in the area and she was really a teenager at heart right up to the time of her death.”
Sorry about this but I’ve some correcting to do. Curse my untrained ear of 2007. The abc file has been edited.
