A Scottish reel from "Kerr’s Merry Melodies"
Reminds me of Graf Spee.
Has this tune got anything to do with the hill called Largo Law on the south coast of Fife (Scotland)? Largo is where I spent my first 12 years - a lovely spot. (Also the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, a sailor on whose experiences "Robinson Crusoe" was written (just in case you’re interested!))
The tune could be named after the hill.On The Weakest Link recently the question was asked "Who wrote Treasure Island?" and back came the answer "Robinson Crusoe"! Sigh.
