Jerry Holland’s strathspey

What better way to generate good thoughts than through music, a tune created with respect for Jerry Holland. This is partly spurred on from recent news and discussions. I hope I’ve done a reasonable job at transcribing this from Jerry’s own playing of this tune dedicated to him by another well known fiddler and composer, Dan R. MacDonald.

That isn’t an option and so I had to choose the relative minor, g minor, two flats…

Not the same tunes ~ for the first obvious difference, your transcription is for a ‘reel’, and this is for a ‘strathspey’… 😏
