This version is off the Willie Hunter Sessions Album. A quick internet perusal reveals that it is apparently a Skinner tune. There’s a clip of Skinner playing it here
Hunter plays the second part the first way, with the doublestops, whereas Skinner plays it with triplets, the second way I notated it.
I couldn’t get those ‘2’s to go away without removing the doublestopped quarter notes, i don’t know why, so just ignore them.
O yeah, and the key is not Gminor, obviously it’s Bflat.

How about the False Harmonics
In the Silver Bow recording (and mentioned in the notes) this is played with false harmonics in bars 5 and 6. Can anyone tell of how this is done on the violin? It sounds too scruffy for me to decipher.
