Lovely tune! You could omit ")" signs in the transcription.

Yeah, I’ve told him that twice now, even emailed him corrections, and without ‘spaces’, and as usually preserving his sequence and choice of notes ~ but have since given up.

When I saw it was da ‘Z’ I had hopes he’d worked on his ABCs. It was worse at the start, so there has been some small progress… 8-)

Lad O’Beirne and Paddy Reynolds

Lad O’Beirne played a setting of this tune, which he may well have lifted from the Joyce collection. He passed it on to Paddy Reynolds, who in turn gave it to younger musicians in New York, including Tony DeMarco, who has recorded it for a forthcoming CD.
