Another tune from Callan Bridge. What a fantastic CD! This is the 3rd tune in the Allistrum’s March set. The liner notes (by Niall Vallely) say "it appears to be a slip jig version of the better known tune and song ‘An Rogaire Dubh’ (The Black Rogue). And who am I to argue?

Enjoy … I know I do!

Quads? ~ more of the family thing with slip jigs?

I knew this A-part, if slightly different, and the B-part also seemed familiar. So, I gave it a few runs, and two keys, just to see where it took me ~

In the second part it should be | cAA BGA FDd |
At least that’s what the Vallely brothers play.
