The Lillias

This is a great little jig. Unfortunately all I know about it is the title. Does anyone have any information about a composer, etc?

Playing through this there is a nice change into it from the Lisnagun Jig

The Lillias

You must know where you got it from, NCFA?

I got the tune from Susan, the whistle and flute player in "Canned Haggis". Next time I see her (and if I remember) I will ask her if she knows anything else about the tune.

Lillias

The tune is actually just Lillias (no"the"). Written by Stewart Hardy sometime round the millenium for Lillias Kinsman-Blake, who is now the flute-player with The Shee.

Ahh, thank you Heather. It is nice to get some background. I will amend the title accordingly.
