Diarmuid O’Brien plays this slide on track 6 of his Cairde Cairdín CD and it sounds great when played for the set dancers.
It’s a completely different tune to the other Dan O’Keefe’s slide in A dor already in the database.
This is my first tune submission, so I hope the ‘tune police’ approve 🙂
Another version
This slide is also played by Michelle O’Brien, Aogan Lynch & Gavin Ralston on their self-titled CD. It’s the second tune on the third track and just called ‘Ni Fios’. I don’t think it’s worth adding this as an alternative title.
On Jackie Daly’s CD "Many’s A Wild Night" it’s called "O’Connor’s".
