Six comments

“Muiris O’ Dalaigh’s”

This tune could also be played with the c’s sharp (^c), which would make it A Mixolydian. Many of the transcriptions I’ve come across for this avoid c altogether…

The most basic transcription I’ve found for this was in this now out-of-print collection of West Kerry music ~

On CD named "DUAL" which palyed by Éamon Doorley,Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh,Julie Fowlis and Ross Martin,
this tune credit as "Port Deálai" followed by a tune "Neili". But on site here, the title "Port Muiris Ó Dálaigh"
is related to other tune.

Can anyone write out the words to the chorus phonetically, or point me to a site that can help?
