A piper’s polka!

From the o‘Farrell collection; as played by Jerry o’Sullivan o’course. It’s a pretty curious thing to hear polkas on the pipes, as it must be difficult to get the right rhythmic emphasis to the music, but JoS manages it admirably and comfortably; I suppose Munster pipers must always have had to play polkas for the sake of all those bloody fiddle and accordion players!
