Last House in Ballymakea

Composed by Junior Crehan. A concertina setting appears on his double CD of the same name. I couldn’t quite figure out what the ’tina was doing in the B-part, so my transcription here roughly follows the setting taught by Kevin Crehan a few years ago at Friday Harbor Irish Camp.

I had so much fun the other day, learning another of Junior Crehan’s Hornpipes, ‘May Ban’, I decided to learn another one of his tunes today & here it is .. warts & all.
