### Ballyket Courthouse

The B-part is very like Charlie Lennon’s Moving Pint https://thesession.org/tunes/3063.

### Ballyket Courthouse

Nice tune. Any chance of the abc’s for it in D?

It sounds nice in D but doesn’t lie under the fingers as naturally for me. Was there any particular reason you wanted to play it in D? :-)

This one ~ was played a lot in sessions in Durham (UK) back in the Seventies. I think it was in one of the Bulmer-Sharpley tunebooks, which were used a lot, as a "Gan Ainm" tune. At any rate, it was always played in F Major, so I’ve entered it here thus, just in case it’s one of those odd tunes like Julia Delaney that is conventionally always played in some less usual key.

However, here are abc’s in G Major:

Here’s another take on this as sent to me by Browndog,

I’ve approximated the last measures and added lead-ins. The fair ABCs sent me didn’t quite add up at the close. Browndog didn’t have any lead-ins and had as the last measure of each part:

~ | EG2F G2 G :| ~ & ~ | eg2f g2 g :|

They could also be interpreted as, minus lead-ins:

~ | EG-GF G2 G2 :| ~ & ~ | eg-gf g2 g2 :|
